Personal Feedback
Developing Sokimo as a solo project gave me hands-on experience across the entire mobile game development pipeline, from concept to polish, covering game design, level design, and technical implementation. Designing 50 unique levels taught me the importance of pacing and progression, introducing mechanics gradually to keep players engaged without overwhelming them. The project also highlighted mobile-specific challenges, like optimizing touch controls and crafting short, satisfying play sessions. Sokimo reinforced my belief that great game design balances simplicity, accessibility, and depth, creating an experience that’s easy to pick up but hard to put down. This journey sharpened my skills and deepened my passion for creating meaningful mobile games.
